Our story
Small by design
Graceful Living is a licensed adult foster home in Happy Valley, Oregon, caring for a small number of residents in a real house — not an institution. That’s intentional. A smaller home means caregivers truly know each resident, families feel like part of the household, and no one’s needs get overlooked.
The home is run by Dina Shtirbu, who brings 16 years of hands-on adult caregiving experience to the people in her care. It shows in the small things — the home-cooked meals, the little keepsakes and trinkets on the shelves, the easy warmth of a place that’s genuinely lived in.

Room to feel at home
Every resident has their own private bedroom — no shared rooms, ever — so there’s always a quiet,
personal space to retreat to. Inside, shelves of little trinkets and keepsakes keep the house feeling warm and lived-in.
Outside, there’s plenty of room to breathe.
